SHOULDERS
(Deltoids) - The Shoulders are made up of three, thick, triangular
shaped muscles. The Front, Side and Rear Deltoids. They start from the
clavicle and the scapula at the rear of the shoulders and extend down
into the upper arm.
Basic function: To rotate and lift the arm. The Front deltoid
lifts the arm to the front, the side deltoid lifts the arm to the side,
and the rear deltoid lifts the arm to the rear.
