BICEPS
(Bicep Brachii, Brachialis) - The Bicep Brachii is a two-headed
fusiform muscle (fibers run so that they pull in the same direction
as the whole muscle) and starts
under the deltoid and ending just below the elbow.
The tendon of the long head helps to stabilize the shoulder. The Brachialis
is the strong muscle that is deep to the bicep brachii on the distal
humerous.
Basic function: To lift and curl the arm and to pronate and twist
the wrist.
